  1. hi there as i mentioned in the title i have a problem in assembling
some parts coz when i do i can't see the moment of inertia in the mass
properties window for some reason (which is starting to piss me off)

I apologize in advance if you are an english as a second language
person, but I do not think you are. Please phrase your questions in an
easily readable manner along with a short description of your
situation. You should state what you have tried and what version of
SolidWorks you are using. Using "slang" type is not appreciated by us
    older folks with slow brains.

For example: I am using sw2006 sp03.1. When I open an assembly fully
resolved and go to Tools -> Mass Properties nothing is listed.

For which you might expect a response like: Well if you don't have any
selections made then no data is displayed. You can select a component
from the graphics view and press recalculate to generate the MOI.

Other thoughts might be - components are loaded lightweight, all
component are hidden (have to uncheck a box to calculate on these), or
    components are composed of surfaces.

    What a restrained reply!!
I'd have flamed him - judging by his email name he'd have loved it.....
