When installing autodesk Civil Design on a client computer I received an error that the AsdkLicense.ini not found. The path points to C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temp. I have found suggestions in similar circumstances to copy the file to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\. I have also tired copying it to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp. My reseller said autodesk says that the error means the installation path is too long. I've recreated the Network deployments with short file names and paths and also with a short path for the temporary files. None of the above have helped. I still get exactly the same message even when I have specified a different path for the temporary files. Has anyone solved this one? -- Allen Jessup Rockland County Highway Department.
