    Hello,

Does anyone know where I can find .dwgs of the US armed forces
seals/crests/emblem. Ex. the marine corps seal. I've found images of them
which I am tracing over in cad, but if they are already drawn and available
for download then I don't want to waste my time...this tracing is getting
tedious. I have to detail them so that we can have them carved in granite.

    thanks

    doug, what's your problem?????
I am a CAD tech/web admin for Architectural Granite & Marble in Austin,
    Texas USA!!
We supply slabs and cut to size material. www.agmgranite.com
Find the contacts page and you'll see my name, Joe Pizzini
We are doing a WW2 memorial in New Mexico which requires all the emblems of
the armed forces to be cut into our stone.
    Why are you so paranoid??

If anyone else knows where I can find cad blocks for this I'd really
    apprecieate it.

    thanks

Don't know the web site but the Institute of Heraldry is the agency that oversees all military emblem designs and such.

Best bet is to do a search on google.com.

Never mind the paranoid.....and you don't have to explain yourself, either.

    Good Luck.

    Jee-sus.......

This should really freak you out : The Nick Berg video is fake. Neil Armstrong never went
on the moon. Elvis is dead. A dingo ate your baby. I run faster than your dad (last time I
was at your parent's place, anyway)

To the rest of this NG, I'm sorry about this post. Really. It was just too tempting.

    Try here. https://www.perscom.army.mil/tagd/index.htm

They have a link to the Institute of Heraldry but there are only some
low-rez raster images there. If you contact them and explain what you're
doing they may be able to help.

That'll do it. Download the WMF's They'll come in as CAD objects.

You may also want to contact your Contact, and determine which logos will be
used. For instance the traditional Air Force Seal or the modern wings logo.
They tend to be a bit picky, especially if you are going to have veterans
involved, so tread lightly, and ask lots of seemingly silly questions.
    save some cutting time too.

you could also try www.brandsoftheworld.com and get .eps files. Just do a
search (I found the US Army on there...the others are probably there too).
If you've got Illustrator you can save them to .dwg files.
