    Hello all,

Is there any way of fixing the disappearing sketch problem (sketch
disappears at certain angles and when you move your mouse over the
sketch) on ATI and Matrox cards?

    Thanks,
    Mike

funny.. i have an ATI (9200se-128) card in the machine
now and have had no problems. the card that i upgraded from
was a matrox (millenium?) dual monitor card.. also no problems.

i did (and still do) get some clipping on large assemblies when
rotating.. but never any problems with disappearing sketches...
or anything else for that matter.

where can i read more about these 'problems'? .. just curious.

re: fixes. got all your windows/driver/software updates installed?

  4. All jokes aside, have you changed the video cards setting (resolution, color
depth, etc.) to see if that makes a difference. Make sure the drivers are
    up to date!

Yes, if you update to the latest ati driver and then fiddle a little with
the 3d opengl settings it behaves quite well.

    I have a 9800 pro.
