Animator, Watch Out

Discussion in 'SolidWorks' started by Corey Scheich, Apr 29, 2004.

  1. When using flexible sub-assemblies and creating paths for the pieces it
seems that animator will sporatically loose the path's for the sub. If you
close without saving and reopen they may come back (you may have to close
and reopen a few times to get everything) but if you accidentally save you
are screwed. I have also noticed that PhotoWorks sometimes will not bring
all the materials across from the parts of an assembly you may have to
Ctrl-Q to get them back. I atempted to make the final cut of a video I had
been working on last night and both of these happened so my camera zoomed
around an inanimate object and the rendering of it wasn't quite right even
though I had done 2 million tests to make sure the render was just the way I
wanted it. Now I have to try again tonight too bad I don't have a dual
processor. Quite annoying. SW isn't my friend this past week. I was quite
happy until about 2 weeks ago when I started messing with new things.

    Rant over.

Thanks for listening and be careful,

    Corey
