I have a situation where, after defining an actor's path along an arc,
the actor follows the path fine, but it rotates as it moves along the
path, which is not desired. Unfortunately, when I turn the "Use
Original Actor Orientation" switch on, the actor will not move at all!
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

  2. You might need to define a target for your actor. Is the actor a camera?.

I've had this problem b4 with arcs that go vertically not when horizontal.
Used it when animating a plane and didn't worry about it as it looked OK.

Is the arc changing 'z' at all??

That's right Bear. It is a vertical arc! However in this case, with
the help of Paul Chater at Bentley, it turned out to be a mis-located
actor origin. I do have other problems in the same animation with
actors moving along a vertical arc, though. Where the actor doesn't
need to pause along the path, and where I don't need to switch on
'Maintain Orientation' button, I can get away with using key frames.
