Analog Artist Optimizer with SuSE

    Hi I have 5.1.41.500.4.89 installed on SuSE 10.2 (32bit) and when I
    try to run the Optimizer it just hangs the Cadence session. No log
    files produced. I'm wondering if this is an O/S issue as I can run the
    Optimizer on a Solaris machine (solaris 8 and 5.1.41.500.4.88)

    Just wondering if anyone else has this combination.

    I can just say that Cadence officially does not offer support for
    other than RHEL3. Since they are using RHEL4 internally they kind of
    have to accept that their customers also can use RHEL4. Most of the
    users are not caring what OS they have to use as long as the unix
    commands they learned 20 years ago still work. I wait for Cadence to
    go Windows Vista as QT also offer support for windows. (A lot of the
    tools are developed on Windows and ported to unix/linux) But since
    Cadence is negotiating with KKR, I think they will be separated into
    pieces and sold on the free market......

    Does anybody have experience with CentOS and Cadence?
