    How can I align the ordinate dimensions?

    I've used snaps and grids to no avail. I've tried stretching the dimensions,
    but then the text doesn't sit on the line correctly.

    I'm exasperated!

    TIA,

    Bill

    You have to grip both the defpoint and the dim location node and move then
    together, If it's already outta whack, grip the location node and use point
    filters to align it with the defpoint.

    Thanks, Randall.

    That works.

    Is there any way to turn off/hide/delete that pesky reference node? It
    really screws up my "zoom extents" mentality :eek:).

    Not as far as I know. I save a view called ALL that covers just the drawing
    and added a button to pop0 that says:
    'view;r;all;

  5. You might want to make sure you have a leading hyphen:

    '-view;r;all;

    ....then it can truly be invoked transparently.
