advice request: program for glass patterns

    Hi to all. I've come to this group for some advice. I am doing some work for
    a company that does custom glass work. To date, the glass patterns sent to
    the factory have been produced by hand. Now, my employer has asked me if I
    would be able to produce the patterns using a CAD program. I have already
    assumed that I can - the question is which program would be the best one for
    me to use. Any help - any guidance, much appreciated. Thank you.
