Our firm uses color dependent plot style for our drawings, and works perfect. My problem is one of our employees is color blind (this is not a joke) and his plots always look different from the rest of us because he can't see the different layer colors displayed on the screen. It takes too long for him to go to the layer box to see what color each object is. Now my idea of a lisp seems impossible, but I will ask anyway because you never know. I would love to have a routine that allows you to hover the cross-hairs (Aperture) over a line/object and it displays the color of the layer/object in a box next to the cross-hairs just like the osnap extension box. Also, it would be nice to be able to toggle this function on and off. Another option is to have it display the color in the coordinates box in the lower left-hand corner, and when your pointer is not on an object it would display something like "Default Background". Is this even possible, or do I need to create a lisp to select an object to display this information? I'm asking for too much right Any other ideas? Thanks Eric
