As a user of ADT 3 based on autocad 2000...I am now faced with the jump to
ADT 2005. ..I have a couple of questions that I hope someone can maybe help
    me with please.

    1. Why can't I see the "Tools" menu in the dropdown list along the top of
    the screen...where File, Edit..etc are.

    2. I don't seem to have any of the design toolbars...walls..doors etc.....is
everything now now on the pallettes or to be picked from the drop down menu
? I have looked in the obvious place for the design toolbars but there
doesn't seem to be any available

    I'm confused :)

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks
    Az

All except Design & Documentation have been moved.
They are now accessed via Tool Pallets icon (or Ctl+3) and Content Browser
icon (or Ctl+4) to tool pallets.

I was told on my upgrade training day that they wanted to keep the
menus as clear as possible because users complained that the screen
    was getting to crowded

So all your standard stiff is missing because you can get at it other
    ways!

If I wanted it back then I had to load from the ACAD.mnu and save as
    my profile.

Well, my response made no sence at all!.
There is an option to display abbreviated versions of the Design and
Documentaion pulldown menus via *Window* *Pulldowns*.
Full function and other ADT features have been moved and are accessed with
Tool Pallets. Custom tool pallets can be created or standard pallets
modified by opening the Content Browser and placing i-drop items into
    desired pallet(s).
