I am trying to detail a drawing view of an assembly. There is a long
seam between two of the parts. I am trying to put a "X" at 1", 16",
28", and 41" to indicate spot welds. Is there a way to do this and
have the "X"s move if I move the view?
    Thanks,
    Brian

Datum targets can be attached to points, but it can be tricky getting
them to attach the way you want.

To make entities "stick" to a view, right-click the view and select
"Set view focus" before creating the entities.

RMB on the view and expand the menu there will be the option to Lock View
Focus. Once the focus is locked you are drawing on the view and everything
will move with the view. You could also accomplish this by sketching it in
the model and extruding surfaces Then to get the surfaces to show in the
drawing you Insert>Model Items>Surfaces. Or without surfaces you could just
show the sketch in the desired views.

    Regards,

Thanks for the help. I'm going with sketching in the assembly, then
showing the sketch in the view. The "view focus" tip will come in
    handy too.
