adding solids

creating parts in an assembly, is it possible to
add two (intersecting) components? (ie, forming 1 component)

checked the google NG archives with no real luck.

Hi Tony - Look into the "join" feature. I think this is what you need.

Create a new part in the assembly.
In the new part create a Join feature.
Pick the two components you want to join.
