I've got a list of custom hatches that i put into a .pat file.

My problem is loading the file. When i try to load the pat file in autocad
2005, it says "error in pattern file"

Can i not include multiple hatch patterns in 1 pat file? do i have to have
them split up, or is there something else i should be doing?

Eventually, i want to have the custom hatch patterns available in a
toolpalette as well as in the "custom" tab under hatching. Any help would be
    appreciated. TIA

  2. In some of my pat files, I have found that after you issue an enter in the
    last
line they work correctly, maybe this can help you.

To have them in the custon tab from the hatch command you shoul add the
    folder
to the support file search path.

Folder is already included in the support path.

I've also gone through the knowledge base and found out the limitations of
    bhatch...

The above fixed some of my problems.

But then i found out the Design Center can read pat files and show all the
hatches within them, so i'm going that route to insert the hatch patterns
into my drawings. The problem i now have is that some of the hatch patterns
will not preview, and will not let me drag & drop the pattern into a
    drawing.

the pat file i have contains 25 custom hatches and only about half of them
    work.
