Add Loft section, What is under the hood?

    I have used this tool for quite soemtime, and I find it to be useful,
    but a kind of "after the fact" tool. Meaning that you create your
    sruface/boss loft with however many profiles, and then you might be
    lie "Ah damm it, I did this already, let me add a section some where
    along the line of where I forgot. Now this is not the big issue that I
    have, my issues is about curvature and tangency control. It is all on
    the X,Y axis. I have tired to get more control over the loft with a 3D
    sketch for the new section that was added, but not soo much doing
    there.

    I dont know how many have you have tired this out, but it would be
    nice to be able to push and pull the CV's with more controlon the Z
    Axis as well.
