  1. Hello, Using AutoCAD 2005 SP1

I was looking at ACADINFO.LSP to see if it has been updated to include all
System Variables and when I searched for all instantances of the file... I
noticed there were two for 2005.

    One placed in:

    C:\Program Files\AutoCAD 2005\Express

    and another in:

    C:\Program Files\AutoCAD 2005\Support

Both are 29KB, but the first is dated 2/5/2004 (possibly when installed?)
the second dated 11/18/2003... now the newer one's comment area is copywrite
1999 and the older one's comment/header area is copywrite 2002... ?nice?

We use this to help troubleshoot and also use the VARS2SCR subroutine to
look at or help create scripts to set/reset or check variables.

Short of going through them line by line...

Does anyone know if these have been updated to include all 2005 System
    Variable Settings?
What would be nice is that these get updated and be thorough, consistant and
    reliable.

Hey! It's my dream do not wake up sleep posters! <g>

  2. Just as a follow up the two files are nearly identical... the list of
variables they check and/or list are the same. Now the question is, is the
list comprehensive? or has some variables been left out?

    Anyone?

    Tracy,
It looks like the latest file hasn't been changed since 2002.
That means that any system variables introduced since have
not been included. I have never used that file so can't comment
    any more. Good luck.

    Regards,
    Doug
