I am new to this newsgroup. I noticed some discussion about toolbars but I cannot open the original question. I am also new to acad2004 after using R14 for a few years. I am also having troubles customising my toolbars. My aim is to set up the toolbars to approximate what I was using in R14 so the transition would go smoothly and I could learn the new features of A2004 gradually while maintaining output. This necessitated creating custom toolbars with a number of flyout buttons. Each flyout button has to be assocated with a seperate menu, so I created a series of small menus (each with simple commands), and associated each of the new flyout buttons with a new small menu. This system works briliantly and gives me the exact desired toolbar layout. The problem is the information is lost when I close acad. It is only the information of the flyouts that is lost. If there are other buttons on the toolbar, the information on these buttons is retained and displayed when I re-open acad but all info on flyouts is lost and I have to re-customise them (which is obviously a real pain in the A...) Has anyone out there come across this problem and if so is there a solution. Danny
