ACAD MAP3D 2006: User prefs/ddunits will not save

    A strange problem....

    Installed the software mentioned onto a users PC. Whenever they make
    changes to ddunits, or size settings in user prefs, they don't save.

    The user has full local admin privileges to the PC.

    Has anyone ever heard of this before?

    User logs on, changes units. Exits program, reloads, units have
    changed again!

    This includes a no-template new one I believe.

    units, then exit, and reopen AutoCAD, the units you see there are
    whatever is saved in the template drawing that is loading when AutoCAD
    starts.

    Modify the template drawing.
