It happens on two plotters - designjet 1050c and designjet 750c. At least some info. gets to the plotter and plots but my ACAD (2002) completely crashes every time. This just starting happening out of the blue. I just got this message on my last attempt: "fatal unhandled c0000094h exception at 6441bo8h", but it usually tells me nothing. When I use the ".pc3" plotters it seems to work fine and no one else on the network is having this problem.

both are pointing to the same system driver and also to the same windows drivers.

<<if one works, the other does not, a setting or something else is making it work with the PC3 file>>

yes, that's obvious...as for the driver information, you can doubt it if you want. i can only tell you that the same information is listed for both under the plotter configuration editor/general tab.
