  1. Hi to everybody....
I've written you many times becuase i think that this newsgrroup is very
useful for a Pro/e beginner like me.Now I'm studing the way of assembling
many parts .I'm working with Pro/E WlLDFIRE,using an old tutorials (2000i
version :(( ) this doesn't help me so much .i can't understand how using
    these constrains :
Coord system;tangent;pnt on line;pnt on surf;edge on Surf.

I'd like someone to explain me this topic in few words.I tried to read the
guide on line of Pro/e but i must confess that i didn't understand so much.I
    thank you so much.
    edoardo.

Coord system means csys to csys, lock all three axes to each other. The others
remind you how poorly named and poorly described many things are in Pro/e. Point
on line for instance should have been called something like point-line so that it
might be clearer that they meant a point on one part attaching to a line on
another part, a point on one part attaching to a surface on another part, etc. As
with all constraints, these can't violate previous constraints you've already
given the assembly and mating component. With csys to csys, there is only one
    constraint.
