A User Hatch Glitch in Tool Palette

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Peter Farrell, Dec 20, 2003.

  1. I Just installed Acad2004 - shocking I know.
So the first thing I see is the Tool Palette thingy - and I pop in a few
hatches - then wonder "How do you customize this" Read some help. A minute
later - I think I'm seeing my first Glitch!

    1. I created my own Tab.
    2. Copied a predefined Hatch from the Iso Hatch Tab "Brick".
    3. Pasted this into my New Tab.
    4. Right-clicked Properties, Changed to User, Angle: 30 degrees, Spacing: 4,
    OK.

Problem #1: the Palette Icon doesn't display the lines angled... Forgiveable
    I guess but Why Not?

Problem #2: The Big One... The Hatch Inserts a a Scale of 1 - OOPS!

Problem #3: Now try to re-edit that Palette Icon - Since When does a User
Hatch have a Scale, rather than a Spacing? (You can't change the Spacing,
but it will allow you to change the scale.)

Can Someone else please verify this, and point me in the direction of the
    Patch of Fix for this.

Dear Autodesk.... Who tests this stuff before you ship it out?

    Thanks,
