    Hi, all

I am trying import some CDL netlists into Cadence using "CDL in"
function. But in the result schematics, the VDD & VSS is converted as a
general net. I hope there can be a VDD or VSS symbol in it. How I can do?

    Thanks!

    Yours,
    Xuefei Bai

  3. I'm not sure I like the "tone" of the implications of some of your postings.
Just because somebody is in China does not mean they are stealing IP.

To answer the original question, if you select global node expand set to "no",
it will use wire labels of (say) vdd! and vss! on any global nodes. This is
exactly the same as if the vdd and vss symbols in basic were used - so
functionally it is the same. There is no option to use the tap symbols from
basic - partly because the wire label approach is more general (what would you
do if a global xyz! was needed - there's no corresponding tap symbol - but
a wire label can do this easily).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
