'_layer command not working

    Ok I posted this in the 2005 group but no response so I am posting it here.

    I went into the '_layer command and hit esc while it was executing now it
    doesn't work. No errors of anything the command line looks like it has
    worked. I have checked the cmddia, filedia and of course rebooted any other
    thoughts
    on a system variable or missing file.
