3D printout

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Rentian Xiong, Jan 27, 2005.

  1. Does anybody know why I always get a 3D wireframe print out even though in
the model space it is flatshaded or hidden? Is there any setting that I need
to change so that I can print out real 3D image rather those crappy
    lookthrough wireframes?? Thanks a lot

  2. Yes there is. Where it is depends on your version.
It's usually somewhere in the print dialogue box. It
used to say "Hide Lines" or "Hide Objects".

If you print layout space chek up "misc proprerties" in properties settings
of curent viewports. You need to set hidden shade plot or "as displayed"

  5. I usually use the MVIEW command, select the vport, and select the Hideplot
    option for the port.

viewport has a "hide plot" property.
