2D DXF dashed lines

    When I open a 2D DXF (sent from my cabinet-making program CabinetVision) the dashed lines indicating shelves show up in ACAD 2004 as solid lines. Is there a setting that is changing these dashed to solid? Or does it sound like the DXF from CabinetVision isn't showing the lines as dashed?
