    hello group,

    i am not sure if anybody else is experiencing this problem...
    on the command line plot i.e. -plot, at the plot scale prompt

    Enter plot scale (Plotted Inches=Drawing Units) or [Fit] <1=96>:

    if i enter a return to accept the default 1=96, it is not respecting
    it, instead it is using the Fit. i am able to duplicate the problem
    consistently.

    thanks

  3. Hi Mark,

    Are you on AutoCAD 2004 or 2005?

    it works fine for 2004
    but not fine for 2005
    i had to modify my code for A2k5 to force the value each time
    instead of taking the default, all the others seem to be
    using the default values OK.

    thanks

    default= :)

  6. Hi Mark,

    I did a little research and the behavior did change between 2004 and 2005.
    The underlying problem is actually in 2004 and was fixed in 2005. In 2004
    when you set the plot scale in -plot it is getting applied to the page setup
    for the current layout even if you didn't apply changes at the end of
    the -plot command.

    Hope it helps,

    If this is an "underlying problem" in 2004 will there be a fix?
