Hi All, We have encountered the following problem with ACAD 2005 on XPPro SP1. A VL Project we have written builds a 3D model from info provided by a dialog box. When the model is finished, the view is set to SWISO and "SHADEMODE" is set to "O" (gouraud+edges) to provide a shaded model. We now import a layout (viewports configured as required) from a template, and make the layout current before running a plot function. So far, all is well. However, if we now go to start a new drawing with or without saving our current drawing, AutoCAD will crash when opening the new template. To prevent this from happening, we have to remove the call to "SHADEMODE" before switching layouts. Has anybody else suffered this problem and is known by AutoDESK? I cannot find anything in the knowledge database. Thanks. Steve Rudd CAD Programmer Amdega Limited A Member of the AutoCAD-Academia Faculty
