2000i on XP Pro SP2

  1. I am in the process of upgrading my CAD stations from Windows 2000 Pro to XP
Pro SP2. I'm doing a clean install of XP (format drive, re-install OS).

Once I've installed AutoCAD 2000i and Service Pack 2 I go to the Plotter
Manager to set up my PC3 files. I've noticed the following:
    1) I can't add a new plotter configuration if it uses a system printer.

    2) If I go into AutoCAD itself, enter Plot, then select the system printer,
AutoCAD will generate a PC3 file for the system printer, but once created, I
can not use the Plotter Configuration utility to modify it.

Is this a known issue? If so, is there a way to resolve the problem?

Pardon my poor attitude, but IMHO that is not an upgrade.
