2000i in XP

    I do not like the open, file, dialog box appears as default with large
    icons.
    Yes, I can switch to list view, but there seems no setting to get the file
    open dialog to default to list as in 2000 in Win2k.
    I have read others do not like this either.
    Perhaps someone has a hack to get this to default to list view?
    Is this a dll or is it coded into the executable?
    It seems to be a default windows thing, but maybe it is in a support file
    someplace?
    Or, perhaps it is a registry hack?

    This was a bug/problem with 2000i on XP. I don't recall ever seeing a
    fix for it other than upgrading to a newer version. 2000i was never
    certified for XP.
