2 PLOTTERS 2 PLOT FILES!! HELP.

  1. I HAVE 2 PLOTTER ON THE NETWORK HP DJ 1050C+ AND HP DJ 500 - AND I'M
    GENERATING PLOTS FOR BOTH ESPECIFICALLY. THEY WONT PRINT
    EACH OTHERS PLT'S FILES. IS THERE A WAY TO GENERATE ONE FILE THAT WILL
    PRINT IN BOTH??

    No. Not by PLT files. Plot files are device specific. Try a PDF file.
    It may work across both plotters.

  3. Thank you for the help guys. In the past months, I had to decide wich way to
    go for archiving plot files (PDF's, DWF's or PLT's) and I've chosen PLT, for
    the ease of use
    and teaching others how to plot (i.e. secretary making copies)

    Another question.. how can I plot various PDF's or DWF's at once?

    Hi,


    a way to generate several DWF files (or png) is to use the ACAD 2004 Publish
    feature!! This will enable you to generate several DWF files from a
    multitude of DWG files at one go!
