1055cm Post Script Vrs HPGL2

    We just got a brand new plotter ;) It has Postscript. What would I use
    Postscript for?
    we've been using an HP650C with HPGL2 driver just fine. The IT department
    installed the PS driver and I requested the hpgl2.
    I use LDT 2004
    Win XP Pro

    Any thoughts on the different drivers and when to use them would be
    appreciated

    So whats the big deal with post script? What does it do? Is it device
    independent? Whaaaat....?

    Where would an Engineering department have a use for it?
