I am not sure if these issues are new or if I am at fault...
    1. can anyone suggest a reason why an alternative position showing as
intended in a view does not print on paper or to PDF with the parent view -
does not show in print preview either
    2. when I make a PDF with a shaded dwg the views and format are scaled in
height on the sheet and the lines all appear to be draft quality even though
    all set to high.
    cheers

Under page setup uncheck the High Quality checkbox in the Resolution
    and Scale group.

    thanks Mike Z.,
I deleted my alt view and recreated it and that fixed the visibility in
    printing for that one.
did as you said re quality and it fixed the scaling problem- seems kinda
weird to me but... - however I still have a problem with any shaded views
being in draft resolution...do you know if that is a Bluebeam problem?

My take on BlueBeam is that it is a teaser and not for real work. I
installed MULPS which is free, prints multiple sheets in one pdf file and
generally does what a pdf writer is supposed to without messing up my
    system.

yeah well it seems like junk to me!...pathetic programming std...just caused
a lot of problems ever since SW put it in... I downloaded PDF995 and will
    give that a blast....

    Dear Solidworks,
Bluebeam either needs fixing or biffing before SW2005...I had no problem
making a PDF with el cheapo pdf995 using the high quality setting.
BTW I couldn't actually get BB to print to another size other than the SW
sheet size despite playing with the printer defaults, preferences etc
how about getting this sorted for us by sp5...only 6 months late.
    cheers
