    Hi,

I'm using the Metric gear shape in TinkerCAD, I noticed 2 unusual things:

    1) TinkerCAD creates a pointy thing in the shape of the gear.
    See here:

Is it a bug or is it meant to give a reference to align the gear with something else?

    2) When you create a gear of 10T,
I noticed X and Y are not the same,
so it's not a perfect circle.

Is this a bug or is it expected ?
What would be the reason for X being different than Y ?

    Would appreciate any insight.

    Thank you.

    Cheers !

I just realized the difference with X and Y is because the measurement for X is not taken from the top of the tooth to the opposite tooth but rather between 2 teeth. As regards the pointy thing, I don't know.
